South Africa's directory for verified pilots
Build one profile instead of sending your CV to every operator. We verify commercial pilots before they go live, and operators subscribe to contact them directly, with no fee per hire.

About us
Why we built Lofft Crew
In South Africa, commercial pilots often send the same CV to dozens of operators and hear nothing back, while operators struggle to know who they're actually talking to. We've seen this problem before: we already run Lofft, connecting drone operators and pilots across the country. Lofft Crew brings that same approach to fixed-wing and helicopter aviation — one verified profile instead of a CV blast, and a directory operators can actually trust.
Built by aviation people
We already run Lofft, connecting drone operators and pilots across South Africa. Lofft Crew brings that same approach to fixed-wing and helicopter aviation.
Verification that means something
Every pilot is checked against their SACAA license and medical certificate, then meets us on a call, before their profile ever goes live.
Free for pilots, always
Operators pay a subscription to search the directory and unlock contact details. Pilots never pay to build or maintain a profile.
Verification
How we verify pilots
Before a profile becomes visible to operators, it goes through a document review and a short introductory call.
Document review
We check the pilot's SACAA license, medical certificate, and ratings. This usually takes up to three business days. If anything is missing or does not match, we get in touch so it can be corrected.
Book a call
Once the documents are verified, the pilot books a 20-minute online call at a time that suits them.
The introductory call
We talk through their experience, where they are based, and anything relevant on their record, and get a general sense of how they present themselves.
Go live
Your profile is approved and becomes visible to verified operators, showing your experience, type ratings, and bio — essentially your CV. When an operator wants to reach out, they contact you directly using your preferred contact method.
What this does not cover. Verification confirms a pilot's documents and identity, but it does not assess whether they are the right fit for a specific aircraft, role, or operation. That decision, along with any further checks the role requires, remains the hiring company's responsibility.
How it works
For pilots and operators
Pilots build their profile once, and it stays visible to every verified operator on the platform. Operators search the directory and unlock contact details for the pilots who match what they need.
