Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 18 August 2026 · Lofft (Pty) Ltd · Reg. 2026/361759/07
Pilots
Creating and maintaining a Pilot Profile on Lofft Crew is free. There is nothing to refund.
Operator Subscriptions
Operator Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis via Paystack. You can cancel your Subscription at any time from your account.
Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period you have already paid for. You retain access to the Platform until the end of that period.
We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, or for a Subscription that was used to unlock one or more Pilot Profiles during that period.
Cooling-Off Period (ECT Act)
In terms of Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, a consumer who has entered into an electronic transaction may cancel it without reason or penalty within 7 days after the date of the transaction, provided the service has not already commenced with the consumer's express consent.
If you cancel your first Subscription payment within 7 days and have not unlocked any Pilot contact details during that period, you are entitled to a full refund of that payment. If you have already unlocked one or more Pilot Profiles, the service is treated as having commenced with your consent and this cooling-off refund no longer applies.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is due under this policy, it is processed back to your original payment method via Paystack within 5–10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
Disputes About a Charge
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@lofft.co.za with your account email and the date of the charge, and we will investigate and respond within 10 business days.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may approach the National Consumer Commission (www.thencc.gov.za) or a provincial consumer court for assistance.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. For questions, contact support@lofft.co.za.
